What is Caregiver Volunteers?
Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey is a non-profit interfaith organization that provides volunteers to assist frail elderly with simple daily tasks enabling them to live, with dignity, where they are most comfortable – in their own homes. And, … there is never a charge for help provided!
Who are the Volunteers?
Your friends and neighbors who are motivated because they are:
- Caring people who share a responsibility for others
- People with a genuine concern for older individuals
- Trained men, women, and young adults who can give support to the homebound. (Services include transportation, shopping, and friendly visits.)
- Neighbors helping neighbors
What other programs are offered?
- CaregiverKids: The intergenerational arm of Caregiver Volunteers.
- Azheimer’s Respite Care Program: Temporary relief or family care givers.
- Outreach to Seniors of Diverse Cultures: Address language barriers for non English speaking seniors, specially trained Azheimer’s Respite Care Volunteers.
