Join our 75-mile motorcycle ride through Ocean and Monmouth County!
All motorcycle enthusiasts and riders are invited to ‘strap on your chaps and start your engines’ and join the Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey (CVCJ) 2nd Annual Ride for Alzheimer’s to benefit the Alzheimer Respite Care Program (ARCP) of CVCJ scheduled for Saturday, July 31, and sponsored by the Motorcycle Ministry of the Knights of Columbus. Registration begins at 9:30 and “Kickstands up” at 11 a.m. at Epiphany Knights Columbus #8160, 615 Thiele Road, Brick. The ride will wind its way through 75 miles of the most scenic sections of southern Monmouth and northern Ocean counties ending at Knights of Columbus # 6201, 401 Bartley Road, Jackson. Donation of $20 per rider and $10 per passenger requested. All proceeds support the local ARCP program of Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey who provide services to family members caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease. ARCP recruits, trains and matches volunteers with families to provide relief in form of socialization, education, and emotional support, giving them the break they need. 1 in every 10 persons over the age of 65 and nearly half of those over 85 will be diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.
