There Are Many Ways You Can Get Involved
Here Are A Few:
- More than 1,100 volunteers shop, drive to medical appointments and make friendly visits.
- Caregiver Kids receive Aging Sensitivity Training and participates in intergenerational programs.
- The Multicultural Outreach Program, coordinated by our bilingual staff, identifies and serves people who might not think to ask for help or face a language barrier.
- A special Alzheimer’s Respite Care Program allows Caregivers few hours of relief from their daily burdens
Who May Volunteer
- Caring men and women who have the use of an automobile, a valid New Jersey driver’s license and state required auto insurance.
- People with a genuine concern or the elderly, and will respect their privacy.
- Those who accept people and have the ability to work with individuals from many different backgrounds.
How Volunteers Benefit
