Play Golf With Former NFL Players

Play golf with former NFL players at 8th annual Caring Classic Golf Outing

Caregiver Volunteers, a nonprofit organization, is holding its 8th annual Caring Classic Golf Outing Monday, May 12, 2008, at Eagle Ridge Golf Club, Lakewood, N.J.

Registration and lunch begin at noon, followed by Shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. with Scramble format. Dinner and presentation of awards and prizes, including a G.E. beverage center, begin at 5:30 p.m.

Every golfer will have an opportunity to Beat the Pro and play golf with a former NFL football player: Jack Simcsak and Willis Krenshaw of the Denver Broncos; Steven Baker of the NY Giants; Thom Huff from the Red Skins; Mark Slawson from the New York Giants; Randy Reutershan, Pittsburgh Steelers; Tom Colin, Greenbay Packers; Steve Mike-Meyer, the 49ers; and Dan Hawkins of the Eagles

The cost is $250.00 per golfer, and includes driving range, green fees, lunch, and a buffet dinner. Proceeds will benefit the Alzheimer Respite program of Caregiver Volunteers, an organization that provides free assistance to more than 2,000 people monthly.

Hole in one prizes include a Harley Davidson motorcycle, Blue Claws baseball package, and a Hogan BH-5 Offset Irons.
