PUBLIC INVITED TO INTERGENERATIONAL HOLIDAY CONCERT
Manchester, N.J. --- On December 20th, at 7:00 PM an intergenerational holiday concert will unite the chorus from Toms River High School North with the “Pine Cone Singers” from the Pines at Whiting. The event, open to the public, is sponsored by the CaregiverKids program of Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey and will be held at the Pines at Whiting located at 509 Route 530 in Whiting, light refreshments will be served.
The “Pine Cone Singers” began singing together in 1995 and has grown to include 23 members. The average age of the chorus is 82 years old. This is a unique opportunity to bring together the generations who share a love for music and would normally not get a chance to perform together. On December 13th, the High School North Chorus will receive Aging Sensitivity Training by Linwood McWilliams, Manager of CaregiverKids.
